Commute
This is more than a game to me, It is a really delicate art work. I think the creator wrote a poem to dedicate her love toward the commute system takes her to work and home everyday. The use of pixels as shading is really satisfying to see and the color choices are also interesting. I think this piece is an experience that can calm myself down and enjoy a moment of peace. I like the part where the city view transferred to herself in the mirror which reminds me how I take the subway to Manhattan every weekend and sometimes I see myself blended into the view.
Sleepi Boi Can't Sleep
This game amazed me with the three dimensional feature. It reminds me of the game called Monument Valley which you need to move the space to solve puzzles. From previous experience, I did not expect the game can exist in a three dimensional space. It is an interesting storyline where the creator is telling the story. The color is really immersive along with the raining sound. The graphic was amazing when entering the ending of the game. Cozy and nice place. When I think about the plot after the game, I feel the protagonist is already dead and can not rest in peace which explain why he can talk to the ghost and see the portrait moving. It is just my wild guess.
